Good Deal on Coconut Water?

According to my online friends, coconut water is excellent for drinking while in labor. It has natural electrolytes, which help keep you hydrated and energized. I was planning to see if my local health food store would order some for me, then Hip2Save posted this deal on her blog. Amazon has these listed at $18 for a dozen 11.2 oz drink boxes. If you sign up for the "subscribe & save" program, it brings the cost down to $15.30 and makes the shipping free. You can cancel this at any time after your order, so you don't have to actually receive the item again. Once you are in the check out, use the code "COCON355" to get an additional 35% off, bringing your total down to $9. That makes these $.75 a piece! I have to admit I hadn't priced them elsewhere yet, but I thought this deal was too good to pass up! Shipping was pretty quick, too - I ordered mine on the 11th, and received them today. I'm resisting the urge to try one now!

I'll warn you... I'm never like, "Oh YUM, coconut water." LOL! It's a very unique taste. I mixed mine with another juice, like pineapple juice.

I've had coconut water before - although from a fresh coconut, not a drink box. So, I'm curious to see if this will have an "off" taste. I'm planning to stash it in the fridge in a few weeks, so it will be cold and ready to go when the time comes.

Good idea about the other juice mixed in KimB.

I had a bunch of those during my pregnancy. I think I had one in labor.... their is another brand called Vitacoco I actually found at whole foods & then lately at target... those have a bit of other juice mixed in already, and it's just like a strawless juicebox ; )

I've got one of those in my pantry, I may get a few more, but we've also got something called Heed that I can use too. It is a natural sports drink that Ron gets at the local bike shops. No sugar or artificial junk in it. I am with Kim, the coconut water is "okay" but not something that I just crave to drink!
